Sister company to Team Valor International, VALOR LADIES became the first partnership of its kind in North America as an all-women's public horse racing syndicate when launched in July of 2012.

VALOR LADIES was established by Team Valor Vice President Megan Jones to encourage a heightened participation of women in horseracing through ownership, and to create as much camaraderie, bonding and fun between women in the industry as possible. Jones states, "We had some fantastic women at the time involved in our Team Valor partnerships- as partners themselves as well as wives, mothers, sisters and daughters of our racing partners- that were bringing a lot to the table in everything we did. They had so much enthusiasm for every aspect of the game, and I thought racing needed more people like that."

VALOR LADIES' inaugural offering, then 2-year-old Irish-bred and Italian-raced Tuttipaesi (appropriately meaning "all countries"), took the Ginger Brew S. at Gulfstream Park on New Year's Day in her stateside debut and followed that effort with a Grade 3-placing in the Herecomesthebride S. and a very game second at Keeneland in the Grade 1 Ashland S.

Partners in VALOR LADIES range in experience and age from 9- to 98-years-old and hail from all geographies. New faces are always welcome and VALOR LADIES is continually looking to bring first-time owners into the sport.

VALOR LADIES racing partnerships contain a unique charitable aspect in which a quarter of any net profits earned by each horse at the end of the partnership are donated to charity, with a different nonprofit being chosen for each horse at the time of syndication. "Our aim is to own stakes horses and win big races, and our thought is that if we're achieving our goals and having fun then we'll pay some of it forward when we can. We're so lucky to be in this game to begin with, and then after that you need some more luck, so it's just a neat way to give back if we end up in that position," Jones states.

Women are invited to contact Megan Jones to discuss current partnership opportunities through VALOR LADIES and be added to the mailing list for future VALOR LADIES offerings. Partnerships are managed and structured in the same format as Team Valor partnerships.
