TEAM VALOR IS ON A HOT STREAK DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE FOR WINS, BARRY IRWIN SAYS A RECORD 12 WINS IS POSSIBLE IN JUNE FOR STABLE, STRIKE RATE RAISED TO ACCEPTABLE PERCENT THANKS TO RECENT WINS

Team Valor is as hot as the blazing midday summer sun.
Barry Irwin had suggested to his wife Kathleen at the end of May, right after On Her Toes triumphed in the Grade 1 Allan Robertson Fillies Championship, that June would provide the stable with its most wins of the season. “We could win 7 races,” he said.
Following the weekend’s results, Irwin may have to upgrade his predictions. Consider the following.
- This weekend alone Team Valor has won 5 races.
- Team Valor has won 7 of its last 11 starts, with 4 places in the other starts.
- Team Valor has won a record 9 races in the month of June and only half of the month is over.
- Team Valor has raised its pathetic 12-percent strike rate to 20 percent as of today.
- Team Valor has won 28 races so far this year.
- Team Valor now has 2 of the top 5 choices for the Grade 1 Durban July with Russian Sage and the mare She's on Fire, who beat males today in South Africa carrying 131 pounds in the Grade 3 Jubilee Handicap at Turffontein.
- Team Valor won its eighth stakes win of the year when Unbridled Belle won the Obeah at Delaware Park by nearly 6 lengths.
- Team Valor has had winners this year in the following countries: United States, England, France, Germany and South Africa.
- Team Valor has 7 individual Graded Stakes winners so far this year.
