CONFORMATION
“She combines the best qualities of Jet Master and National Assembly,” said Barry Irwin. “She has the tremendous drive power behind in her quarters that are the hallmark of National Assembly, with the good bone of Jet Master.
“She is a powerhouse type of filly. She should be fast enough to race at 2, but she looks like a 7 to 8-furlong type of horse at 3 and 4.
“She is loaded with substance and it will be fun to see what she looks like later when she loses some of her baby fat.”

SIRE - Jet Master
Jet Master was the first horse in the history of South Africa to win as many at 8 Grade 1 races. In spite of a wind ailment that required two separate surgeries to correct it, the grandson of Northern Dancer was able to return to the races and become a Champion.
At stud, he began his career at a top flight farm, but after two season he was forced to change venues just before his third season, which caused him to have a smaller book.
Beginning at stud with a fee of about $1,250, Jet Master has become the most dominant sire in the nation, leading the list this season by a margin of nearly 50 percent more earnings than the runner up.
Seven sons and daughters have already won Grade 1 races.
He will become the first South African foaled stallion to lead the country’s sire list in decades.
His fee has been raised to $40,000 for 2007.
Barry Irwin offered a substantial sum to the owners of the stallion to bring him to the United States, but the octogenarian owner refused to part with his pride and joy.
FAMILY
Jet Park was foaled by a half-sister to Her Way, a 7-time winner who was best in a renewal of the Grade 3 Camellia Handicap, as well as two other stakes races.
The second dam, a daughter of all-time great broodmare sire Elliodor, was foaled by the tremendous Argentine producer Imaginada, from whom descend 5 excellent stakes winner.
Imaginada produced the Grade 1-winning juvenile Champion Radical in Argentina and two-time South African Grade 1 winner Fanciful, who is responsible for stakes winner Cover Look (won the South African Oaks) and Orange Alert (stakes winner, Grade 2 placed.).
BROODMARE SIRE - National Assembly
A $3-million dollar yearling by Danzig who was unraced for Coolmore Stud, National Assembly was reputed to be lightning fast while training at Ballydoyle, but he bowed early and was retired, after which Graham Beck bought him and brought him to stand in South Africa.
An unqualified success, National Assembly has sired many Champions and Grade 1 winners, the three most important being National Colour, considered to be fastest female sprinter in the world; National Currency, who was considered to be the best sprinter in the world at time of his death as a 5-year-old; and National Emblem, a top racehorse and stallion in South Africa.
NOTES
Jet Park was bred by the owners of Jet Master and was consigned by the same agent from whom Team Valor bought Captain’s Lover.
TRAINER
Justin Snaith, who will train Jet Park, currently trains the exciting debut filly winner Captain’s Lover.
Son of former trainer Chris Snaith, Justin is a leading trainer of winners in Cape Town. He and his family operate their own training center outside of Cape Town.
Justin is ably assisted by his brother Jonathan, who runs the business end of the stable.
The Snaiths have trained many top runners, one of whom was the ex-Team Valor filly Secret Heart, a stakes winner who was multiple Grade 1-placed. In her only South African start for Team Valor, she was second in a stakes won by Champion and subsequent Australian Group 1 winner Perfect Promise.
